Golden Milk is my take on a traditional ayurvedic recipe. I use astragalus root + ashwagandha as the base which strengthens + protects the immune system, soothes the nervous system & supports the adrenal glands. This makes it perfect as a calming drink before bed or as a general tonic to support your whole body.
Turmeric is an incredible anti-inflammatory which supports healthy joint function, promotes a healthy immune system, and aids in digestion.
The warming spices of ginger + cinnamon provide further anti-inflammatory benefits, as well as healthy digestion + better circulation. White pepper is also included because piperine (which is the active ingredient in pepper) enhances the bioavailability of turmeric, making it even more potent + absorbable!
INGREDIENTS: >> all organic << astragalus root, ashwagandha root, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon + white pepper
HOW TO: In a pot, simply heat up 8oz of your favorite milk (my favorite is homemade almond milk) & whisk in 1-2 tsp of golden milk powder + honey to taste.
